Meet The Team

Marnie Nathanson

Founder & President

Marnie comes with a background in Television Development, Content Creation, and Talent Management. With a degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication at Syracuse University, Marnie has had a well-rounded portfolio with experiences at Sesame Street, AMC, Queer Eye, Radio Disney, NBC Olympics, The bulk of her career was at MTV Networks, where she worked in the Programming, Comedy & Animation, Scripted and Unscripted departments. Prior to launching The Social Status Co. in 2015, Marnie helped launch two startups, spearheading their Social Media and Public Relations departments. She is inspired by her team on the daily, and is grateful to her husband and kids for supporting the hardworking mom hustle.

Jenna Stein, Senior Director

Strategy & Content

Jenna has over ten years of experience in Advertising and Event Management with a Communications degree from Susquehanna University. Prior to joining The Social Status Co., Jenna worked for CBS Television, CBS Interactive, Indeed.com and Momentum WorldWide. Jenna joined The Social Status Co. in 2017, and has loved helping the company grow. She loves: spending time with her husband and children, her friends and family, Starbucks, photography, watching Bravo and HGTV, and traveling.

Audrey Breining, Manager

Strategy & Content

Audrey has close to 10 years of experience in Public Relations and Social Media Management with a Public Relations degree from Rowan University. She has worked for Dior Timepieces and Stratta Interior Design. Audrey joined The Social Status Co. in 2018 to develop social strategies and manage multiple client accounts. Audrey lives with her husband, her son, and her two dogs.

Elizabeth Morrissey, Coordinator

Influencer Management

Elizabeth comes with a background in Public Relations, Marketing, and Social Media having worked with Neutrogena, Clean & Clear. Elizabeth manages The Social Status Co.’s client influencer marketing programs, and partnerships with talent. She also serves as an Event Coordinator. Outside of work, Elizabeth spends her time watching Bravo, investigating murder mysteries, and spending too much money on clothes and makeup. Elizabeth graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Rebekah Giordano, Coordinator

Strategy & Content

Rebekah has over ten years of experience in Business Development and Social Media Management. She attended The Fashion Institute of Technology, studying Business Management. She has worked for Rent the Runway, Louis Vuitton and Free People. She joined The Social Status Co. in 2019 where she spearheads Social Media strategy to achieve marketing targets based on analytics and social trends. She loves traveling, photography, graphic design and writing. She is inspired by trends in Art, the Fashion Industry, and by powerful boss babes.

Lindsey von Busch

Public Relations Executive

Senior-level Public Relations executive Lindsey von Busch serves as a consultant to a wide-range of clients in fashion, entertainment, lifestyle, publishing, health and non-profit. With over 20 years of industry experience, Lindsey specializes in strategy, communications, media relations and creative storytelling. Lindsey has worked for leading multimedia companies including NBC News, Viacom and Meredith Corporation, traveling extensively across the nation to oversee a myriad of media events and award shows. Prior to becoming a consultant, Lindsey served as Manager of Public Relations for Meredith Corporation’s consumer magazines including Ladies’ Home Journal and More. While at Meredith, she was honored with the company’s prestigious President’s Award. Lindsey raised the profile and business of each Meredith magazine by millions of media impressions which therefore resulted in a significant increase in revenue. She also implemented cross-promotional programs with national multimedia companies television, radio and print. Lindsey von Busch obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from New York University.

Evan Nathanson, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

Evan is approaching twenty years of experience in all facets of Accounting after receiving his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware. Evan is a Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey and Delaware and holds association memberships with the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In his free time, when not fathering or being a dedicated husband, he enjoys serving his community through charity work. Evan is currently an active board member of the Jewish Community Center of Central New Jersey, and the Treasurer of the Cranford Clay Courts. If not at home or in the boardroom, and the internet is down, check the local golf and tennis courts.
